Mr. Kalley brings more than 25 years of experience in start-ups, international trading, and managing strategic as well as day-to-day operations of companies in established industries, to his role as Managing Director of Ambassador Overseas Logistics. Marketing and establishing global distribution and procurement for his businesses have led him to visit about 50 countries, and work in three throughout his career.
Mr. Kalley’s passion for innovation, originating from his belief that prudent use of technology can solve many of the world’s problems, is a key differentiator for APR Platinum Logistics, as we leverage technology for continuous improvements in logistics planning and execution for our clients. Mr. Kalley is listed as an inventor or co-inventor on 16 U.S. patents, in addition to foreign patents.

Mr. Kalley earned a MBA in Banking and Finance from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of South Africa with a concentration in law and economics.

Industry consolidation will accelerate as baby boomers retire and the costs of technology upgrades strain the financial resources of smaller Ocean Transport Intermediaries –Larry De Fiore
In applying his financial skills to various businesses, Mr. De Fiore has or currently holds senior level or director positions with various private equity groups and operating companies.
He has been an active principal in over ninety transactions involving private equity investments ranging from initiating investment opportunities, business valuation, deal structure and financing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and exiting investments, as well as the development of effective strategic alliances.
These wide ranging analytical skills, financial acumen, business experience and entrepreneurial talents are now being applied to the Ocean Transport Intermediary industry at a time where the industry is under enormous competitive pressures from customers, vendors, changing trade patterns and fast-moving technologies.
Mr. De Fiore’s multi-industry experience exposes him to the critical needs of shippers across a wide spectrum of products. These unique insights not only position him to understand the full nature of shipper’ problems but also to design solutions to them across a wide range of issues impacting the global supply chain.
Mr. De Fiore graduated with honors from Michigan State University and is a CPA in Austin, Texas and Southeastern Michigan.
